Worked method
How to calculate a Life Path number
Write the full birth date, reduce the three date components separately, then combine them. Decide how you will treat Master Numbers before beginning.
Write the date
Separate the calendar month, day and four-digit birth year.
Reduce each part
Add the digits of the month, day and year down to their allowed results.
Add the subtotals
Combine the reduced month, day and year values.
Reduce the total
Continue until 1–9 remains, unless your method preserves a final 11, 22 or 33.
Worked example: June 15, 1988
Month: 6 → 6Day: 15 → 1 + 5 = 6Year: 1988 → 26 → 8Total: 6 + 6 + 8 = 20 → 2
